Ukrainian freighter grounding, Dardanelles

General cargo ship KAPITAN SHYRIAGIN ran aground on a coast at 0116 UTC Mar 11 near Kilitbahir, Dardanelles, while transiting the strait in southern direction, en route from Constanta Romania to Bari Italy, with cargo of corn. Strait SAR tugs responded, the ship was refloated at around 0700 UTC and taken to Kumkale Anchorage, southern Dardanelles, where she was anchored. Understood there were none or slight damages, because she ran aground on a sandy bottom.
